Committees
Our church operates, in large part, through the efforts of our volunteers. Some of our committees are appointed or limited in membership. Many other teams and committees are open to any member or friends who would like to volunteer to help out. UUCE also offers opportunities to serve outside of the church through Social Action Teams.
Aesthetics Team
Creates an attractive, informative and welcoming environment for visitors, friends and members within our church building.

Building Team
Oversees the maintenance of our church facilities. Individual team members are responsible for ensuring that routine tasks are performed on a regular basis.

Keeps in touch with Church Members and offer support and assistance in times of illness, bereavement and need.

Green Sanctuary Committee
The Green Sanctuary Committee assists the church in being more environmentally friendly and coordinates some of the congregations concern for environmental issues. Contact Mary Alice Masonick and Elizabeth Olson.
Hospitality Team
Coordinates activities to help visitors, friends and members feel welcome and comfortable in our church. Activities including coordinating greeting, Sunday morning coffee hour and special event hospitality.

Landscape and Grounds Team
Oversees the creation and maintenance of the prairie, gardens and grounds. Activities include planning for new gardens and plantings and overseeing grounds maintenance.
Membership Team
Welcomes visitors, provides information about our church and assists newcomers in the process of becoming members.

Welcoming Team
Greets and welcomes visitors to our church. Activities include serving as greeter assistants, ushers and providing information to new and return visitors.

Worship Committee
Plans and coordinates lay led services on Sundays once a month.
