Programming Mission
The mission of programming at UUCE is to sponsor and support a wide variety of programs which are connected to the UUCE mission, vision and UU principles/ purposes.
In so doing, programming will be:
- Open, inclusive and lifespan
- Integrated to include elements of spiritual, service and social
- Community building and sustaining
- From the congregation and supported by the congregation
- Well-communicated to the congregation
- Balanced between on-going and short-term programming
Programming Procedures
How to Form a Group:
- Complete and submit a written proposal form to Program Council.
Forms are located in the church office.
- The Programming Council will review the proposal and get back to the submitter within 2 weeks.
- Upon approval, advertise the program (see “How to advertise” below)
- Reserve space and schedule meeting times on the church calendar by submitting a Church Event and Calendar Request form as soon as possible. Forms are located in the church office.
- If this is a recurring program, the following should be identified as soon as possible:
- Group mission
- Group guidelines
- Group leadership
- Internal communications, e.g. meeting times
How to Recruit Group Participants:
- All groups must be advertised in the church newsletter (the Unichord), and in the Sunday Order of Service.
Send church newsletter announcements to newsletter@uuce.org; or place in the newsletter mailbox at the church.
Send Order of Service announcements to office@uuce.org and administrator@uuce.org; or place announcements in the office mail box at the church.

E-mail (uus@uuce.org). You must be a member of the uus e-mail list to post announcements. Contact Linda Porter at administrator@uuce.org to be added to the list.
Display table at church entrance and/or easel by elevator on second level of church. Sign up to use the table or easel in the church office.
- Provide a clipboard for group sign-up.
- Advertise outside of church, if appropriate, by contacting the PR team.
