October Ethnic Eating: Cuba!
On Saturday, October 17th at 1:00 pm, our ethnic eating adventure will continue by exploring the cuisine of Cuba (while it still remains an independent country and isn’t absorbed as a US state by the current regime) at Que Bola Cuban Cafe at 1940 E Touchy Avenue, Des Plaines, IL. If that idea stirs your taste buds, let Dan Hislip know by text at 847-243-3820 or by email at dwhislip@gmail.com.

My gardens and flower beds are entering the last of their blooming and food production cycles. And, like clockwork, my dog is starting to shed more than usual. It’s really kicked…
