There are many different ways to be part of the UUCE community!
- Guests attend services, classes, and events.
- Friends attend services, classes, and events while also helping to support the church financially.
- Members do all the above, as well as voting on church matters and participating in Boards, Committees, and Teams.
Being a member allows congregants to have a voice in determining the spirit and direction of UUCE, whether that’s by casting a vote, or taking on a leadership position. Almost all of what we offer is free and open to the public, but our members and friends support everything we do through their gifts of time and money. The church’s operating fund is based solely on the financial commitments of our members and friends, and we honor and appreciate their support!
If you’d like to become a member, the first step is enrolling in our Path to Membership class. It includes information about Unitarian Universalism, the history of UUCE, different ways to get involved, and the privileges and responsibilities of membership in our community. It’s a great place to meet and get to know other friends and members.
The class is led by Rev. Leland Bond-Upson and the Membership Team. Contact us to find out when our next class is scheduled!
