Nine intrepid foodies from UUCE feasted on the cuisine of Bahrain on Sunday night, August 27th at Al Bawadi restaurant in Niles. It was a delicious experience and I believe everyone left stuffed and carrying a doggie bag. It was just an excellent experience in a marvelous atmosphere. Please give this restaurant your consideration if you weren’t able to join.
That said, we need to turn our attention to the cuisine of Bangladesh. We will be visiting Sabri Bihari Restaurant at 2502 West Devon Avenue in Chicago on Sunday, September 10th at 5 pm. I hope you will share this dining experience with us.
Also, we will be sampling the food of Barbados in the second half of October at Mariscos El Charco in Elgin, followed by Belarus in November and Belgium in December. More on the dates and times to come. Hopefully that will whet your tastebuds. Come join us – membership is free and dues are partaking in some interesting foods.
