I really haven’t felt like writing about food lately much less tasting it. However, on Sunday afternoon, Kathy, Lydia Larrabee, Diana March and I traveled down to Hopleaf Bar on Clark Street to sample the cuisine of Belgium. There we enjoyed Belgium-style mussels and Belgium-style frites along with Belgium beers and ales. Absolutely delicious and a wonderful experience.

Then, in February, we will visit Qatar African Restaurant at 7118 N. Clark Street in Chicago to taste the cuisine of Benin. Date and time still to be determined. I hope you will find an occasion to join us for an evening or afternoon of food and fellowship.
