The Book Group has been meeting once a month continually since 1992 to discuss a wide range of books, both fiction and non-fiction. As the pandemic eases, the group will return to meeting in a member’s home, where they host a potluck lunch. Each book is selected by the entire group, and membership is open to all members and friends of UUCE who enjoy a good book. Join us on the last Monday of each month at 12:00 for a potluck lunch and book discussion.
The book for May 30 is “Crying in H Mart: A Memoir” by Michelle Zauner at the home of Bonnie and Dennis Schwank. We will also discuss the book from last month, “Oh, William” by Elizabeth Strout.
On June 27 our selection is “A Man Without a Country” by Kurt Vonnegut at the home of Jane Kimball.
