The Book Group has been meeting once a month continuously since 1993 to discuss a wide range of books, both fiction and non-fiction. As the pandemic eases, the group is returning to meeting in a member’s home, where they host a potluck lunch. Each book is selected by the entire group, and membership is open to all members and friends of UUCE who enjoy a good book. Join us on the last Monday of each month at 1:00.
On November 29, we will discuss the historical fiction, Hamnet, about Shakespeare’s son who died of the Plague.
We traditionally have not met in December; so the next meeting after November will be January 31 when we will discuss “Save Me the Plums: My Gourmet Memoir Book” by Ruth Reichl.
