The tradition of Homecoming that we’re all familiar with started in 1910 at the University of Illinois as a way of giving alumni and new students the opportunity to get closer to one another and realize the “real greatness of the University”.
The members of the Revitalization Team thought that sentiment fit perfectly for our much anticipated return to UUCE after a summer of vacations and time off!
The festivities took place right after the Sunday Water Communion Service and all were welcomed to join us for a catered lunch, games, connecting with friends old and new and getting back into the groove of UUCE!

Just sending my thanks for a lovely event! You adapted to the weather, a rapidly fluctuating headcount, dietary restrictions and more with grace. So nice to see so many friends present, and looking forward to catching up with those who couldn’t attend at a later date.
