A Council of Chairs meeting is meant to facilitate communication between the leadership of different Teams and Committees at UUCE. Today’s meeting is an opportunity for leadership to check in, share, and discuss the issues and concerns they’re facing during these difficult times of COVID.
Every Saturday in January, Elizabeth Olson will be collecting donations for the Community Crisis Center in front of the church building from 12:00 pm until 1:30 pm. Friends, we are collecting Styrofoam this Sunday, December 27, from 12:00 to 12:30PM in front of UUCE. CLEAN Styrofoam only and NO packing peanuts! Please separate your food grade from your packaging Styrofoam and place in bags so they cannot blow around. The food grade foam goes into the Red Prius and the packaging foam goes into Blue Prius. Questions? Mary Alice and Joe Masonick
For many, Christmas is a time to share with friends and family; something the global pandemic is making difficult this year. Nevertheless, we’ll be doing our part to spread Christmas Cheer this Christmas Eve by gathering around our computers and tablets to share some carols, Christmas stories, and fellowship with our UUCE family.
21-Day Racial Equity Habit Building Challenge The Social Justice Team is offering a unique opportunity to all our members and friends beginning the first week of December. For 21 days, each participant will do one action per day to further understand power, privilege, supremacy, oppression and equity. In addition, we are virtually meeting four times to discuss our commitment and what we’ve discovered. Learn more about this challenge on the Adult Religious Education page.
