In July, Ethnic Eating casts off for the Cook Islands. We will be partaking of Pacific seafood at Crazy Crab at 279 Barrington Road in Streamwood on Saturday, July 32nd (or for you landlubbers not familiar with nautical timekeeping, that’s August 1st) at 1:00 pm. June will provide the Ethnic Eaters a change of pace as we will move from the various cuisines of central Africa for the flavors of Central America and we will visit Irazu restaurant to sample the foods of Costa Rica. Everyone is invited to join us as we enjoy a casual monthly get-together to discuss what’s on our minds. Bring a sack supper with you and share your thoughts with us. The Conversation Cafe meets on the second Wednesday of each month from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. so mark your calendars and join us for lively conversation. Join us after Sunday’s Flower Communion service for a church picnic – being held this year at UUCE! The main meal will be catered once again, but we’re asking everyone to bring a side dish, dessert, or beverage to share. Please also feel free to bring any outdoor accessories – for instance, camping chairs, pop-up canopies, and outdoor games.

Heart to Heart Small Group will be meeting in the 3rd floor couch room after the service.
