Our youth have chosen the YWCA of Elgin Giving Tree as the recipient of our Share the Plate collection for December. This year, instead of doing the shopping ourselves, we hope to raise $800 to be shared equitably among 17 children. The YWCA staff and volunteers, who know the children well, will purchase and wrap gifts of clothing, books and toys according to each child’s wish list.
