Fox River Trail Walk in Elgin

You are invited to join the Revitalization Team on Friday, August 19, at 5:30pm for an out-and-back walk along the Fox River in downtown Elgin. We’ll go from Festival Park to Walton Island and Pioneer Park. 1.5-mile round trip but people can feel free to turn around at any point along the way. Sunday Worship Service

Join us at 10:30am every Sunday for a Worship Service filled with inspiration, reflection, music, and community. Everyone is welcome to join us online while we stream our worship through Zoom. Buddhist Sangha

Every week, a self-directed group of UUCE members and friends meet (virtually at this time) to explore Buddhist practice and principles. Meetings include time for meditation, as well as discussions of Buddhist related topics. First time guests will be provided a brief orientation to meditation and the evening’s schedule. 4th Sunday Styrofoam Collection

Sunday, August 28, from 11:30am – 12pm Please separate your CLEAN food grade Styrofoam from your packaging Styrofoam and bag as needed.  Styrofoam peanuts are NOT accepted (take to UPS store).  Place your Styrofoam in the Prius with the open hatch in the church parking lot. Alice Macy Book Group

The Book Group has been meeting once a month continually since 1992 to discuss a wide range of books, both fiction and non-fiction. As the pandemic eases, the group will return to meeting in a member’s home, where they host a potluck lunch.
